thanks for the heads up on this, we have toured around Europe twice now with nothing to report. Raised awareness helps incredibly especially as we travel in a car with no roof and have left things lying in the car as we have got a drink or such. Maybe we are too trusting but will take greater care on this years travels.

If someone pulls alongside you whilst on the autopista and signals that something is wrong with your car open your window and point camera at them. You won't see them again.
(Of course there might actually be something wrong with your car in which case they wont mind having their picture taken.)
