I always regard speeding fines as a voluntary tax. Just as paying Excise duty on cigarettes.

It is dead easy to avoid, so why moan if required to pay?

Well said, it's not as if you don't know you are doing it.  If you choose to speed (and yes sometimes I do) I accept the fine if I am caught.
