Anybody thinking or have booked for Domaine Les Mathevies, We can thoroughly recommend the place.

Excellent for children, very child friendly and safe.Lots of childrens toys,trikes,play houses, adventure play area.

We have no children with us, but it's also very peaceful if you want.

We are there at this moment and although there are quite a few young children here it's still quiet and relaxing.

It's a small site with very friendly and helpful owners (Patrick & Natalie.)

Hi all, we went last August with our boys (now 13 and 8) and we're going back again this August.  We had such a fab time and Patrick, Natalie and the family are absolutely lovely.  Such a relaxed and welcoming place.

Definitely recommend a canoe along the Dordogne - we did it twice with different lots of friends who met us at various points of the holiday.  There is also a place with ariel runways/zip wires through the trees.  Different levels for different ages.  We didn't do this last year but it was recommended by other campers.  I don't know the name but I'm sure that staff at Soleil Plage will tell you.  We may do it this time.  Chateau Castlenaud is also a good day out (reasonable price from memory).  If money is no object you can hot air balloon - we didn't do this .

Free days out - swim in the Dordogne, wander around Sarlat and other beautiful towns, lovely bike rides if you have bikes, spectacular places for picnics.
