Where did you get the fuel station POI's?

I am pretty sure that they were already on the TomTom when I purchased it. Having said that a Google for various types of POI's will often bring up a lots of info. When we were in Germany recently I downloaded the locations of REWE supermarkets as they take credit cards.

there are lots of free POI's on pocketgpsworld you just have to register (free) to download. You can also get speed cameras but that costs £19.99 per year
