Hiya

Driving to Pals in Spain on the first week of school holidays,We will be using the toll routes through France and having had a breakin at our last overnight services stop we have driven without overnighting ever since.
This year we plan on taking it easy and want to add in a stop can anyone recommend a good sfe site please.

You don't say what sort of area you want to stop at. On way to Torreilles Plage which is very near the Spanish border we stopped at a great municipal site in Beaune. Almost all seemed to be heading South for the winter - it was September. Clean toilets/showers, restaurant on site for evening and breakfast and walking distance into town for a drunk.
