Can any of you lovely people who have been to La Croix du vue Pont at Berny Riviere confirm whether there are any issues with the electric ie. any issues with reverse polarity and will a standard UK hookup work or do we need a continental converter.
Thanks very much.

Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
We were on the site last year,in the newer part of the site in one of the bigger pitches and we did not have reverse pole problems. Each pitch has two electeic points, one european and one continental one.We returned this year to a pitch 9 feet avay from last year and the polarrity was reversed.I didnt check the continental point as I had a reverse pole connector.(note to self, check both points in future).
The best thing is to bring a reverse pole connector with you although many on this site will say that reverse polarity makes no difference.
The danger with reversed polarity is electrical item from the UK will still be live even with switch turned off. So if you want to fiddle with the insides of item unplug it.

No need to fiddle with anything, all you need to do is plug in a reverse polarity adaptor between the power point and your van..
You're missing the point,it's not to do with the polarity it's to do with the dangerous practice of fiddling about with something when it is still plugged in polarity correct or reversed.
Hi we were there at the beginning of June - our pitch backed onto the river and faced the football pitch - it was reversed polarity so we had to use our adapted hook up.
It was stated that domestic appliances in the UK were not double pole switched this is not correct for most modern appliances, If they are double insulated then the cable doesn't have an earth wire so single pole switching isn't a problem.
Some old appliances may not be double pole switched,I suggest if you have one then replace it because it is way past it's useful life.
The problem with rev/pol in the UK is that the switch socket outlets aren''t always double pole switched.
If the toaster was made in France(highly unlikely) then it would be double pole anyway the same as the UK.
Thanks for the replies. Am I to assume from all this advice that our current UK hookup will connect but it might be worth investing in a reverse polarity connector and tester just in case.
Or, as we are not planning on sticking screwdrivers, knives (!!) etc into appliances reverse polarity shouldn't be a problem anyway.
Thanks.
