Can anyone recommend a good campsite for tents in the South of France? Child friendly is a must with good pool facilities or a beach near by.

Thanks in advance.

which part of the south?  We have been to La Brasillia several times and really loved it though it really comes into its own if you have teenagers.  Perfectly good for younger children too though.  This is in the Roussillion area at the south of France close to Spain.   Direct access to a beach and you can walk into town that has a great beach for little ones with play areas and a small funfair.  Good pools, several little play parks and a mini square with restaurant, take a way, butchers, fruit and veg shop, general store , cave ( think cheap wine) and loads more.

As andcow says, narrow your search by first choosing a region, the responces you get will then be more usefull.

We used to do the Cote d Azur, superb area with lots of campsites, but fior us the region became to expensive, and crazy busy in July.

Then we did the Western side of the Med places like Argles sur mer etc, less expensive than the Cote d Azur, but not the same ambience.

So now we go to the Southern Ardeche, it's less than a 100 miles inland from the Med, so pretty much the same climate +40DegC and wall to wall sunshine during July when we have been, this last couple of years.

Good luck with your search.
