How long does it take to tow from Le Havre to Chateauroux, If I leave Le Havre at 0800 on a sunday morning what is the estimated towing time sitting at the speed limit or just under of course. Thinking of an overnighter at Les Grands Pins just off the A20 at Chateauroux on the way down to Sarlat area

You don't say which route you want to take but the cheapest as far as tolls go is to Rouen A13, Chartres A154, Orleans A10 and Vierzon A71 then use the toll free A20 to your site. About 270 miles.
Assuming an average speed of 55MPH and a stop of 1 hour that should get you there by mid afternoon.
we did that route on a Sunday this August. We didnt arrive in France til 1.30pm and arrived at Vatan just off the A20 north of Chateauroux around 6.30pm. Tbh I find the Rouen, Dreux, Evereux, Orleans road a pain usually with the number of lorries but on Sundays lorries are banned and the route southbound was very quiet. Northbound was a very different story, mile after mile of traffic approaching Orleans.
