As like most on here we are starting to plan next years holidays.

We are thinking of maybe the Atlantic coast side as far down as Landes region, has anybody got recommendation on sites?

We do like the look of le col vert on lac Leon or domaine de la Rive.

We need a fairly large pitch having a twin axle caravan also have to travel during July/August as we have teenagers looking for a active site near water with lots to do for teenagers during day and evening,

Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!

Hi lovely area of France we have been to La Rive several times including this year. Excellent site for teenagers we have 2 girls 16 and 14 and they had a great time this year made lots of friends both French and English. Can't help with size of pitches as we rented a mobile home from the site, but on looking around caravans seemed to have enough room for car and awning  depending on which bit of the site you were on.

It is a big site and lots going on during July and August but the entertainment finishes at midnight and now they have built an indoor arena the sound doesn't travel as far, have to say it didn't bother us at all this year. Pool area great and lake very warm and ideal for all watersports and only 15 mins to the coast for some good waves.

If you would like any further info just ask.
