No one has mentioned the C C C carefree breakdown insurance. I was unfortunate to have a serious break down in Frejus, they sent a tow car from England for me to continue my 3 weeks holiday. I was then able to take the van back home, and a chap picked the hire car up from home.
That was excellent service.

You do tend to hear more about Red Pennant than the C&CC offering so its good to hear about alternative services. Glad they came up trumps.
