We freeze litre packs of orange juice, and those small multipack cartons that you get in Lidl!  That way we can drink them when they've thawed out!

For the coolbox, we've started using the inside bags from wineboxes about 1/3 full with water, then frozen on the top of the box.
In one supermarket down south we found a ratatouille 'kit'; with generous quantities of olive oil, and a good baguette was totally memorable, and dirt cheap.
