No, but depending on time of arrival, may well disturb anyone who is already on site.
Thanks Yorkie!
GBPub - yes, that's what's bothering me - and why parking up at the docks seemed a good idea initially. In theory, all we'll be doing is pulling in and dropping the legs, which shouldn't disturb anyone too badly at 11 at night ... unless it's accompanied by a six month old hell bent on making his displeasure known!
Oh well, I can only plan things so far - we might fly down and be there for 8.30 .... In my dreams ;-)
Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
Sorry to sabotage this topic but thought it may be a good idea as it relates to same crossing but leaving from dieppe. On checking prices for end of August the difference in cost between an 1800 departure and an 0530 departure is nearly 80 pounds. My question is has anybody done the 0530 sailing and if so what arrangements did you make i.e. did you arrive early the evening before and parked up or did it another way....any info would be appreciated
Sorry taffy, I can't help you but I reckon it might be worth posting a separate thread in here to catch the eye of people knowledgeable about dieppe.
I've had the oddest conversation with Sheepcote Valley today - who won't take our booking because we'll be arriving after 8pm so will definitely need to be in the late arrivals area, and they won't know if that's needed for people who are staying on the site until 8pm that day ... I think I might need to phone then again tomorrow to untangle what the problem is ..!
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
