We went to this site last year
http://www.vacansoleil.co.uk/camping/info/italy-lake-garda/felice-del-benaco-san/campsite-europa-silvella/VGB/5/2201001/
in a Vacansoleil tent last year and found it good value. It was the very last week of the summer holidays, which was a bit later last year! We booked early and got a good discount so it cost less then quotes in Lake Garda
Ok you wont get the same discount but though it may be worth a browse :) even if you just use it for inspiration for the general area.
That particular site had a small, busy, restaurant on the shore. The pools were great. There was entertainment but it was mainly aimed at the younger ones, no dancing till 2am. It was a nice but a missed sales opportunity for them, kids dancing but no tables for the parents to sit and drink. It looked like the bar / cafe was open but adults looked too embarrassed to see if they could get a drink ;)
We took a bottle of wine to the lake shore one night because one son wanted to night fish. We sat there with our plastic cups looking over the lake and thunder storms in the mountains to the north. That was good entertainment :)
We did bella italia on lake Garda a couple of years go and really liked it. I was very specific about my pitch requirements and they gave me pretty much what I requested and we were just one row back from lake side. It's a full on site with loads to do. Most Italian sites don't have any loo roll or hand wash in the toilet blocks so you need to add these to your wash bags
