Hi sorry this may be a silly question but we are taking our dog to france in a couple of weeks we have the passport sorted just wondered about the vets on the way back is it just a case of turning up at a vets or do you have to go and make an appointment and can it be any vet.

also any reccomendations of good resonable vets would be appreciated we are sailing back from calais and are travelling around Brittany and as far down as LaRochelle and back

One would think so but the Vet that we usually use did not seem to be aware of the situation of the dog being wormed not less than 24hrs and not more than 96hrs before we travelled. Also, she was not aware of the changes regarding not having to Frontline the dog.

It still cost us €30

When we checked the dog at Pat Passport Control at Eurotunnel there was a huge pile of A4 leaflets in both French and English stating what was now required.
