An ACSI Card comes with a campsite guide book. All the sites in the book accept the ACSI Card and offer a rate of 10, 12, 14 or 16 euros (depending on the site) between certain dates, set by each site. This covers the pitch, two adults, car and caravan, awning, and electricity. Any more children or adults you would pay a supplement for - and this would be the normal amount which the site charages for extra people. You present the card on arrival at the site, and then get the discounted rate. There are over 800 sites in France which accept the ACSI card and I think more than 2000 throughout Europe. On some sites there are special offers, such as seven nights for the price of 6, or 14 nights for 12, and even (on one site in Spain) 30 nights for 20! See here: www.campingcard.co.uk for more details.
