Hi. Going to Normandy next week and planning on taking my tent which is 2000mm Halford as not possible to take larger tent which is 3000 mm outwell and manages bad weather fine.
worried about all this rain with halfords tent. Shall I quickly buy a 3000 mm or will I be ok? Halfords tent did leak in storage area when used in heavy rain.....

Just go for it, my Son went to France with his £10 Tesco six person Vis-A-Vis tent, he had a couple of heavy middle of the night thunderstorms to endure during his ten night campings, but the cheapy Tesco tent was fine and dandy.
2000mm head height is fine, our old Vango Venture 500 was 1500mm and stood up to horrendous rainstorms in the UK and in mainland Europe.
There is no reason why rain should come through the fabric of a 2000mm HH tent, but if the seams leak then you will get leaks. Do you know exactly how the tent was leaking previously?
