Going to france for week in Normandy as a tester as I have never driven abroad, do I need my insurance certificate translated into french?

They usually have details in several languages on them, Ours has it on the reverse.

But just make sure you contact your insurance company before you go - you may have to pay extra to ensure that you have the same level of cover over there as you do over here.

They will probably also provide you with 'accident' packs as well, which you really don't want to be using but are handy if you have to! Our European neighbours will expect you to use one if you are unfortunate enough to have a 'dink'!
