Hi, just wondering if anyone has any experience of this? Hubby wants to go camping in France next year, which is fine but a lot of driving as we are in Aberdeen. Wondering about Denmark or even Norway or Sweden but having trouble finding any useful camping websites. We would take our own tent and have 3 children.

Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!

You can get a ferry to Denmark, but not to Norway or Sweden, so going there would involve a long drive.

Your nearest ferry is, I think, from Newcastle to Amsterdam, then Hull/Rotterdam and Harwich/Esbjerg.

For info on camping in Scandinavia try

Thanks! Yes, Denmark might be best - if I can get hubby off the subject of France! I'll have a look at those websites, thanks again
