Yes, for the original poster, but perhaps not for others who are thinking of venturing over there. In fact it's inspired me, and i'm off to look for cheap flights when I've a bit more time!

I've never been to any French Xmas market, been to German ones quite a few times, and they are lovely.

Yes, going that far, unless you were en route to Spain for the winter, it'd have to be cheap flights to get there.
