Well if they don't, Francais, you can always change your ferry, taking advantage of the NEC show free amendments.
We're just about to bring ours forward by a week, so that we can be away in France for OH's birthday, as it's a milestone one this year! We were last year, too and had a great day in Paris when we went to see James Taylor at the Olympia, and had two great meals out in Paris!
Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
All booked to go back to La Guyonniere again, we must like it there!
Doing portsmouth at malo out, it is more expenaive but it cuts the drive etc on the french side, which when weve got 6 hour drive in the uk and limited holiday is very valuable.
Also doing a week in may half term in south britany but in a cottage (wooden thing!) again using the same at malo crossings both ways, and a cabin..... all for under 500. Amazing considering its half term. Fingers crossed for some semi decent weather.
------------- Fab time in France again.... Roll on next year!
Got a week at Whit all inc in Turkey, not camping!
Easter, hopefully a week near London, to visit sights, museums etc.
First three weeks of August, tunnel booked for the outward journey then Santander to Plymouth for the return.
No sites booked in between. Hoping to visit the Dordogne, South west France and the Picos. Are we completely mad not booking? Have done the second half of August not booking with no problems. Not bothered as long as facilities are clean and a pool would be good for the kids so I'm hoping it will be ok!
We are just about sorted, leaving home Easter Saturday taking 4 days travelling through France and Spain to Calpe for 3 weeks then 3 weeks at Benicassim then back up to Salou to meet up with friends we use to meet at Camping Cambrils Park which unfortuntley does not take Tourers any more. Cant wait.

Sorry about above posts _ using new tablet and still getting used to it. Meant to add very few toll costs after Pont du Normandy. Have done this route many times and after the bridge there are only 1 or 2 toll booths costing 1 - 2 euros only in a car. There are shortly after the bridge then it is toll free all the way .
We have so far booked a week at Camping Neptune Adge and are hopiing to book les Ranchisses in the Ardeche for another week
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Thanks Leggy, Have been looking for the price for the tolls on the A13 but have yet to find them. May just buy a Tag from Sanef.
No, I haven't booked anything yet - I haven't even thought about it. I don't book continental sites because I never know where I'm going till I get there. IMO, booking in advance (or at least more than a few days in advance) is contrary to the freedom and spirit of adventure that caravanning gives you.
------------- Two drifters off to see the world.
I'm tired of reality, so I'm off to look for a good fantasy.

The 2 tolls on the A13 going towards Caen are both quite close together and come just after Honfleur and just before the Pont L'eveque turnoff - there are no more tolls to pay after these all the way to Trinite sur Mer. If you look on either Mappy or via MIchelin it will give to toll costs for towing a caravan.

White at Etang De La Breche in the Loire (and keeping fingers crossed for some nice weather), off to Tunisia in August though.
Just back on this website after a long absence - we re-booked before we left last year at L'Oceano d'Or in Jard sur Mer which ticked pretty much all the boxes for us. Kids made lovely friends there who they've kept in touch with and we're all going back this summer - a first for us as we've never returned to a site before. Hope it's as good as last year - I was pretty much set on the Royan area last year but just couldn't find the right site but we had a great time at Jard sur Mer - excellent location, nice town, harbour, flat cycling and great beaches.
Am slightly missing the annual 'which site to choose' searching but feeling more relaxed than last year when I just couldn't choose!

Thanks again Leggy, i have managed to find approximate toll charges for Le harve to Caen. Looking at about 12 euros all in, not sure how i got 29 euros the other day and that was using michelin route planner! I will stick to the a29 and a13 then pick up the A84 at caen all the way down.
