As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
The majority of sites use the standard blue plug that we use in the UK although there are still a few sites using 2 pin sockets and the it is always wise to take an adaptor in the above link.

Thank you BlueExpo97 & David, appreciated. So I take it thats a blue socket & my standard hookup will plug straight into it?

Thats right, the same as here. Funnily enough you will find its the German vans that seem to need the adaptors as unlike UK vans I don't think they come with a hook-up cables and tend to use those reels of cable you buy in DIY outlets which of course have continental connections.
Not using a van of any type David...we're seasoned campers & buying a small 3 man tent for my mrs & me (didnt want to take our 10 man as it would be wasted).
We are also pro aircraft photographers & are on the way to Austria, a place called Zeltweg, should be fun ;)
Thanks for the help & info.
PS like your website, some seriously good info was found there, nice one
For the campsite, let me recommend Camping Maarau in Mainz - or rather on an island in the Rhine at Mainz. Good flat site with good facilities and an easy walk into the city centre across the Thedore Husse bridge.
(as I recall, the EHU takes the standard UK blue plug)
Beautiful city - Plenty of shops, restaurants & bars within walking distance. About 20 miles from Frankfurt.
------------- Two drifters off to see the world.
I'm tired of reality, so I'm off to look for a good fantasy.
Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
Thanks Captain, we haven't settled on a site in Germany yet...it's only a 2 night stop-over on the way through..so we thought midway between Frankfurt & Nuremburg, but I never came across that camp site, will go search it out now...appreciated.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
