Our friend is looking for a house in France, in the area around Eymoutiers, and we've looked at staying there for a few days this year and meeting up with him. Gorges du Chambon is an ACSI Card site too, during the following dates: Period of validity: 20/04 - 05/07 and again from 24/08 - 13/09 and does 14 nights for the price of 11, or 7 nights for 6. The reviews say it all I think! The area is rolling hills, green, and pleasant, but not 'spectacular' - like much of inland France to be honest!
