Does anyone know of somewhere nice and not too expensive to stop overnight near, or just south of, Arras?

And that takes dogs?

Are you wanting a campsite or a hotel? And what route will you take? The campsite at Peronne is nice enough, if it's on your route-ish.

If you're looking for a hotel, I've stayed at the F1 in Arras and it was fine. They accept dogs and while are basic are perfect for breaking up a journey for minimal cost.

We have stayed at the "Premiere Classe" budget hotel in Arras, in fact it has been the best budget hotel that I have ever been to.

The hotel was newly opened back in late 2008.

There is a supermarket across the road with a Flunch restaurant, if you fancy a good value evening meal.
