Booking.com now offers bed and breakfast as well as hotels. Last year we stayed in/near Calais at two really lovely Chambre de Hotes - both with lovely rooms and fantastic breakfasts, both found through booking.com. This year we wanted to be just a bit further down the road and have booked, through booking.com, a room in a Chateau which scores 9.5 out of 10, and then via an email to the owner, booked a meal at a local restaurant, which again gets rave reviews.
With booking.com you can specify how many rooms you want, and up to what price, as well as the location, etc. They offer all the budget hotel chains, too, so you can find exactly what you're looking for.

Try this link to booking.com and you should find at least the following, which all have a quadruple room which sleeps four:
Chateau de Gaillard, Les Castel des Anges Hotel du Caudron, Camping Le Walric (mobile home), Camping-Caravanning de la Moliere (bungalow), Camping les Galets de Moliere (mobile home), Hotel Les Flandres, Hotel de Calais at Le Treport, Hotel La Peupleraie, Hotel La Chipaudiere, Auberge des Etangs (this one is only 49 euros for a quadruple room)
There are others, but they are more expensive
Search for your dates, Abbeville (about an hour from Calais on the route you need), under room select more options, then fill in two adults, two children, and their ages! They are all around the Abbeville area.

Last summer we stayed at Las Fermette de pres de Mautort. A wonderful B & B in Abbeville about an hour from Calais. The owner, Sarah, is charming and spent some of her childhood in the UK sp speaks fluent English. We stayed in the family room with our two boys. Spotlessly clean, comfortable and has a good ensuite. Delicious breakfast too! Very good reviews on Trip Advisor.
Booking.com is excellent - but it is always worth checking the hotel's own web page (this sometimes takes some finding) as while booking.com matches the cheapest price sometimes the hotel will offer the same price with free breakfast or free cancellation - always useful if travelling a long way.
We have two children and it can be a pita trying to find hotels to accommodate us for a reasonable price. There's always a chain restaurant near by, like Buffalo Grill.
