Just found out that Camping Pong has been sold to SNCF for their members use only,What are we going to do? We have stopped there every year for over ten years,my children are gutted!!

What a shame, Pong was a very busy site during the summer months especially on the newer part, always full of Brits, Really enjoyed our holidays here as the site was very well placed for visiting both the north and south of the Vendee region

We have been going there since 1999 when in area. We was there in 2011 and Maryse was telling us that 2010 was very quite and they were the same 2011. Bank manager on there backs etc. We stopped and looked at the site in July this year, couldn't believe how run down the site looked. Grass overgrown and only two caravans at the top end, where we used to go. It's a shame it's gone.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
