I am having difficulty in getting travel insurance. Had an operation Oct 2012, symptoms for this condition went and felt much better, unfortunately 6 months later my symptoms have returned and on return from our two week holiday to France next week am booked to have an ulta-sound. Insurance companys will not cover me because I do not have a diagnosis but will not cover my prevous condions as they are related. Has anyone had this problem and found a company that would cover them.

We found the banks offer holiday insurance via some of their current accounts.
Because of age and health, we found that they offered considerably better value. We have Lloyds Premium account, but others are much the same.
Thank you to you both for your suggestions but neither will insure me for an undiagnosed condition. I think that it seems to be the common trend, but my thought is whether I'm diagnosed or not I still need some cover for it, incase I become unwell. Will just have to keep my fingers crossed and hope all ok otherwise could be an expensive trip if my EHIC card doesn't cover it. Just printing off now what my entiltement is in France.
