We are a family of 5 looking for a camping cheques site from 19/8 for 11 nights. This year we have booked the ferry to Le Havre and due to my hubby being signed off work for the last 3 months (due to a knee injury) we are looking at keeping the time spent travelling to a minimum and the cost down!
This site ticks lots of boxes for us, but I can't find many reviews. Has anyone here stayed at this site?
Or can anyone recommend a camping cheques site? We have 3 boys aged 11,7 and 5. We'd like a pool and space to play. Be within about 4 hours from Le Havre and we'd really like to be able to walk into the nearest town or village.
We aren't too bothered about an all singing/dancing site as our boys are quite happy with a ball and somewhere to play!
Thanks in advance
Jemma
Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
We stayed at Durtal a couple of years ago. Lovely quiet site on the river Loir (no "e")
Large pitches, good wifi and you could watch kingfishers flying up and down.
The toilets were practically a health hazard Hopefully they have been updated.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
