Hi cheryl.mark, hope you have a fantastic holiday. We are planning to stay at soleil plage in august 2014, looking forward to hearing all about your trip when you get back! I've actually got a quick qyestion you could maybe answer (sorry to hijack your thread!!), I wanted to stay on the riverside section of the site, are all those pitches all grand confort, or are there any electricity only pitches there?
Enjoy yourselves and I hope Fonrives meets expectations.
May end up at SP (or La Bouysse) this Sept - haven't booked anywhere - will just follow the sun - but we really do enjoy swimming in that stretch of the Dordogne and watching the sunset changing the colour of the cliffs.

There are just electric too you are best emailing the site for the relevant pitch numbers. Fabulous site, we also arrive in 3 weeks 2 days
We will be there from Monday with our 15 year old daughter. I'm hoping she'll make lots of friends as it's her first holiday without her older brothers.
We are riverside, possibly on 153, which is a couple of rows behind you.

Hi
Yes the grand comfort pitches are on the riverside area which is the nicest part of the touring site, the touring area is split into two sections, one is closer to the pool/bar areas, its ideal for the location of everything but it can be noisy there at night, the other section is down near the river, this is much quieter but a 10 min walk to the pools etc, we prefer the quieter location and the shower blocks down there are fab, theres also a childrens park down near the river area too. You can walk to the beach from this section in 5 mins and the river is right there, its lovely.

Hi
Come over and say hello as my friends have teenage girls aged between 14 and 16, theres 4 of them in total and my girls are younger at 8 & 9. Theres loads of teenagers on that site is brilliant for all ages. They all hang around on the sports fields and down by the river at night. We arrive on site on Sunday night and we are all together from pitches 173 down to the river, we are on the very last row of touring pitches before the fields, its really nice.

how many pitches does this site have please
Theres quite a lot, split over two sections, the cheaper ones are closest to the bar/pool but not as nice as the grand comfort area down near the river. Theres approx. 185 pitches but that's a guess?
