Hi can you access la riva at sorico direct from switzerland or have you got skirt around lake como via milan etc will b towing a twin axle caravan or any advice on campsites in lake como or maggorie area many thanks jonah

La Riva is a nice campsite in a lovely location. We approached it from the south on the eastern side of the lake as we were warned that other roads could be difficult. The road south from Sorico on the western side of the lake is not particularly wide in places and quite busy. Be interesting to see if anyone has come via Switzerland!
