Well, nearly off time, hit the road on Thursday for our slow meander down to Uzes for a week, before a week at Les Sablon at Valras Plage.
We will test out the excellence 3 bed mobile home, i will report back to all you Roan customers on how it all went.
Getting excited!

We were pitched opposite some Roan tents at Les Sablons last year and we were pretty impressed with them.
The area we were in (Tamaris) was nice and quiet with two really clean loo blocks.
Nice distance to the beach and well away from the entertainment area.
We are going back but not till the 20th August. Have a great holiday.
We stayed at Piantelle (Lake Garda) in a Roan tent in 2011. Was brilliant, exceptionally clean and well equipped. It also proved cheaper than taking our own tent (2 adults 4 children). This year we are satying at Ranc Davaine ina Roan tent last two weeks in August ... so excited can't wait.

That's good to know...we might see you at ranc davaine..we arrive on the 31st
We loved it, took children aged 15,13,11 and 7. Only stayed a week in a Roan tent, but we are discussing a return visit next year!
Very friendly staff onsite - we stayed in Roan tent, which was excellent, pitch not massive, but not a problem for us.
Showers/Toilets always clean and hot, small shop on site but Lidl and other supermarkets 5 mins in car. Didn't eat in on site restaurant, but had take away pizzas which were delicious. Fabulous Icecream for sale on site at very reasonable cost.
Pool not too busy and sunbeds always available. Didn't use children's clubs/entertainment so cannot comment on that. Our kids loved swimming in the lake which is accessed directly from the site - although you do have to cross a very quiet (dead end?) road to get there.
In the evening we walked along the lakeside (good pavement well lit) a few bars/restaurants to choose from within 15 mins walk.
Day visit to Verona and visited Gardaland theme park (a mistake in the heat of August!).
A peaceful holiday, enjoyed by all.

Les sablons was fantastic, all the Roan vans were first class, i think almost brand new, really nicely fitted out with air con, lovely deck and great kitchen.
Booking was straight forward and very helpful anytime i emailed them.
The reps on site were very good too.
You do have to do what i call a proper French clean at the end! They bring around the cleaning equipment for you the day before, you even do the windows!
Sounds really positive, thanks! Really excited about our trips now. do they provide all the cleaning equipment, or just the cleaning fluids? And do you get a list of bits you have to clean LOL?
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
