didn't rent a van but we rented a tent.
Have used Keycamp and Venue.

The uk holday firms dont usually allow and are dearer. Find a french site you like then book direct. Most of them tend to allow dogs in mobiles. The french are very dog friendly.

Have rented mobile homes a few times now in Europe. As said above, book direct with the site, as Canvas / Keycamp / Eurocamp are much more expensive and also the sites tend to keep the better pitches for themselves.
Most of the larger sites rent, and quite a few of the smaller ones as well. The easiest thing to do is pick your region, have a look at the sites used there by the tour operators, pick a site then find that sites website and book with them directly.
Can't help with the dogs I'm afraid.

We're going here next week and renting a static. They allow dogs and we've only paid just over 500 euros for 9 nights.-------------
