We are thinking of taking our Springer on holiday with us next year having seen some happy dogs on the Portsmouth-Bilbao ferry this year Has anyone taken a dog to a campsite in Northern Spain? Any suggestions on a decent campsite would be welcome as well as advice re the problems we may encounter. Thanks

We haven't taken our dog ( a Springer) to northern Spain, but when we took her to the vet in the Ardeche for her check up and wormer, the vet emphasized how important it was to protect against Leishmaniosis. This is done by either applying a spot on treatment Frontline plus, (we use Advantix) or a Scalibor collar.
