You'll see from the previous thread that there is a wide range of sites of various kinds, so you need to think about what sort of facilities you would like, whether you prefer large and convivial or small and quiet. Lots of sites put on Christmas meals and entertainment. I know that Turiscampo in Portugal is very popular, though we haven't been there. Maybe someone will come up with recommendations. Incidentally I changed from contact lenses to glasses, but not for the reason you quote!!
