Hi - planning our summer holidays and would be interested if anybody knows anything about this campsite in Holland. It looks good for families in the Eurocamp brochure.
As we are taking our trailer tent we just need to book a pitch so I found the camps web site but unfortunately it is only in Dutch! It seems there are 2 places to stay either in the safari park or the main bungalow park so if anybody has any views on either I would be interested to know.
Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
I checked their website. Strangely enough indeed only in Dutch, apparently their market is a national one (kids, pony park etc). Anyway, they have a normal campsite and a bungalowpark for any tourer means of camping including a TT. Size of the pitch is about 100Msq.
They do have a second camping the safaricamping. On the latter pets are not allowed, the first 'normal' campsite does allow pets (seems to be free, but I am not sure). The first one also is positioned at the lake.
They say there is water for sailing, canoeing/kayakking, fishing etc. Of course there is forest in the neigbourhood and they have 'Attraction Parks' (fairs) Entry is free for campers, apart from the parking fee in these aprks (€3,75).
For tariffs look at 'tarieven' and than 'toeristisch kamperen' (tourer camping). The standard tariffs are for means of camping, car and two persons, including 4 amps electricity. 6 Amps for the two higher classes of pitches. Three types of pitches. Tariff per person extra €3,75, tax €0.75 per person per night.
Just contact them for more information:

I am about certain they will speak or write English.
You don't speak German by chance? As they do have a german version of the website.
I have never found a Dutch campsite reception who dont speak English--so just phone 'em up & I'm sure they will talk to you in fluent English--about 90% of Dutch folk seem to speak English & are always very helpful-we go there at least once a year-its about the most English friendly country I know--but Wlee!- I'm never gonna crack your language!---
