Visited that area a few years ago, loads to see. Mont St Michel is amazing, the Bayeux Tapestry, D-Day Museum, Beaches and the many other exhibitions very interesting. The immaculate cemeteries with their rows of crosses stretching into the distance are very moving, it really makes you think of the sacrifice so many made.
We stayed near Bayeux, but the site we were on does not open until 1st May this year.
Lots of lovely little fishing villages as well as masses of seaside mansions and apartments. Very crowded when we were there (July) but should be much quieter in April, and easier to park!!
