Hi Everyone I wondered if anyone can help me I have a booking on the Brittany Ferry next March from Plymouth to Santander I am taking a medium sized dog and I wonder what type of Muzzel is required or are there no rules which type that can be used

It does not matter what type as long as it's some kind of muzzel. However we have travelled several times on that route and I don't believe that I have ever seen any dog with one on and that includes in the lift on the way up to either the cabins or the kennels.
I usually put one in my pocket just in case though.
If you insist on buying a muzzle. Buy the type which allows your pet, to pant and to drink. Not the enclosed ones which keep the mouth closed.
These are for the vets, for them to treat dogs if they are likely to bite. Not for generał use. Dogs are suseptable to overheat with these, they cannot pant or drink.

The muzzle is only asked for by Brittany Ferries when you take the dog from the car deck to the cabin or kennels so its only for a few minutes at the most.
