We stayed last year in la foret campsite in Jumieges. Think it was about two and a half hours from Calais. Pretty town with a couple of restaurants/bars within walking distance of campsite.
Without a doubt Camping Ste Claire at Neufchatel en Bray is the best overnight site we've ever stayed. there are 2 supermarkets less than 1/4 of a mile away and McDonalds if required. Also 24hour fuel if required at the Le Clerc. Easy to to find just off the Autoroute Recommend using junction 9 off the motorway head down the hill and turn left. You will pass an Aldi on your right and a bit further Le Clerc & McDonalds on you left. The site is a few hundred yards on your left.

Are there any 'proper' restaurants within walking distance of the site?
