I go to estartit every year, however stay with my dad in his apartment. Whilst i've never stayed in any of the camp sites, I have visited most over the past 20+ years I have been going out there. Camping Ter is the first site off the main road n to Estartit, there will be a bit of a walk/drive if visiting the beach, santa anna/harbour area. The biggest site is castell montgri, this is a very large site with quite a lot going on in it. they offer a free bus to the town several times a day. there is also the Rifort as someone has mentioned, this is just as you enter the town, there's the centermar big supermarket opposite, secure gated entrance to the site. its at the top of the main road which leads down to the beach (5-10 min walk depending how fast you walk). bars/restaurants on the way down this stretch also.
Estartit is a lovely place to go, if you haven't been before. Its a lot quieter than it used to be, not much out of the campsites entertainment wise if you have children.
Where driving over this year with the children, but staying with family. bout looking forward to a different adventure rather than just flying.
