We are off to France tomorrow on the overnight ferry to Le Havre. The ferry doesn't leave until 11pm but instead of hanging around all day waiting to set off we thought we'd drive down to Portsmouth and spend the afternoon there.
We have used some of our tesco vouchers for the Spinnaker Tower and Pizza Express.
Anyway, I was just wondering where we could park, we have a people carrier with a roof box so really need a carpark with no height restriction barriers.

Hi, there is a new P&R for Portsmouth. If you put 'Park and Ride Portsmouth' into Google there is a really good website.
There is no height restriction and the FAQ section says Mh's can use the site.
The site closes at 7pm on Sundays, which may be a bit early for you, although there is plenty of parking in the ferryport.

It is a fair distance from ferry to gunwharf I reckon walking (never done it) would take 20-30 mins I dont know about public transport, maybe someone more knowlegeable can help! Lots to do at gunwharf. We parked in the multi story carpark (without roofbox)
