It is right on the beach and is a €2 bus ride into the centre of Barcelona (Las Ramblas).

Although by the airport, it was not noisy and had all the facilities.
The high season prices do seem a bit obscene for a cheapskate like me, but I don't know what you were hoping to pay

we stayed at kims camping , good site, good price, we drove from Kent stayed overnight in south of France.

recommend the Lyon route driving down, much quiet and quicker than via Paris

Hi, look at Tamarit Park resort near Tarragona so about an hour from Barcelona. It's been recommended to us. Good luck.
