We are travelling to Slovenia next summer via a 2 day stopover near Munich, have been looking at campsites nearby but they all have terrible reviews.Has anyone got any campsites or even a motorhome stopover site that they have used that is ok? As we would like to visit Munich and the Olympic stadium.

Yes we always stay at Walpark Camping at Hohenstadt just off the A8 Autobahn between Stuttgart and Munich. Very nice site very helpful owners. j

We stayed at Camping Thalkirchen, it was OK. Quite busy, but quiet and well located. Bus from site takes you to (underground) train station and easy to get into town.

Facilities were OK as far as I remember, but we do mainly use our own shower etc.

We stayed at Camping Brugger .... about half an hour south of Munich ... see my review.
