Recommendations please
Considering RAC cover which includes up to £500 parts and labour.
Our normal Ford assistance cover breakdowns in Europe but not sure on recovery costs.

Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
First of all read the small print on your Ford breakdown assistance & you will find it covers everything you need including vehicle repatriation, apart from cost of garage repairs.
Most reasonably priced breakdown cover covers no more than the Ford cover you already have. It will cover a bit of roadside labour & recovery but once recovered to a garage you have to pay for repairs.
If you want cost of garage repairs covered then this is extra so if you want that then go with RAC or whatever other cover provides that but in all cases read small print very carefully before buying.
