Hi, We've just booked la croix DVP with friends after a lovely (but off peak) stay there two years ago.
On confirming a pitch they've said they've reserved us pitches in the Petit Bois area which, according to memory and several negative reviews, is the smelly rat infested, dark shanty town near the river.
I've emailed them back to ask for a pitch anywhere else but I have a feeling they're going to be packed solid and won't bend on it.
If the worse comes to the worse, can anyone recommend a similar site with similiar driving distances from Calais? We were so excited booking this and now were just worried.

We stayed here a couple of years ago,Camping Les Etangs Fleuris,our review of the site is available on here.You do not say what you wish to do whilst in France,but this site is ideal for DLP and for Paris.with the Valle de Europe shopping mall no more than 45 mins away for either.
