Has anyone visited this campsite in Germany? we have tried to book by email but never receive a reply.

Also, does nayone have any recommendations for a site near Kassel or Nuremberg please?
Thanks.

Camping Naumburg is about 25 miles from Kassel and Camping Waldsee at Roth is about 25 km from Nuremberg.

We stayed there a few years ago (2010) ... it was fine for a night or two .... probably not for longer ... it's very much used as a stop-over to see the town.
Pleasant enough on the river ... main road runs beside it ... though I don't remember heavy traffic noise.
Bus stop outside the entrance ... easy for getting into town and not having to bother about parking.

Kelper, is it easy to get to/access and did you book in advance? We will probably stay at the ACSI site at Neckargemund (cheaper!), but nearer the town might be better for a couple of nights.

No, Anne, didn't book ahead ... and there was plenty of space ... from what I remember it's open style i.e. no marked pitches.
Access is no problem, straight off main road.

Anne Neckergamund has easy access to the town as next door to the campsite you can catch the boat.
