We really like the look of the municipal site at Amboise but just wanted to check we wouldn't need to book for the end of August. Planning on staying 5-7 days. It looks like it's a big site, but I know the area does get busy. Thanks.

Just checking that you don't have a twin axle, as munis offically don't accept them. Can't help on the site for that reason.

If you staying there, get a pitch up towards the bridge. You can, with a booster, get free wifi from the town rather that pay for the site's facility

That's disappointing! How did I miss that? Any recommendations for a site in the area? All we require is EHO and maybe something to do within walking distance? Traveling up from Saint Emilion to Paris so just a stop off for a few nights on the way. Thanks
