We were hoping to drive on from Venice to the West Tuscan coast .
Any suggestions of routes &/or recommendations to visit on the way (or experiences of Mount Argentario ) would be welcome

?I picked there because the beaches looked good to snorkel from & then hoped to travel up to Cinque Terre .
We are in a soulpad tent

We stayed south of Pisa on the west coast, there are some lovely beaches and the waters are clear and calm. We stayed at two quite big commerical sites, but i think they are in the main in Italy. Parc Albatross and le capanne, both very good with excellent facilities.
Cant comment on the drive as only done by train many years ago.
