Now I know I'm not the sharpest tool in the box, but with exchange rates as they are. Isn't 14.95 a bit dear for us to be buying cheques. I understand that it's not an ideal world where we get the proper exchange rate, but euros are 1.42 at the moment which puts 1 cheque at around 21 euros. 5 more than the cost in euros of a nights stay using cheques. Just a thought from a tight a# at e😮😮
------------- See you all soon, Bernard!
Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
The price of Camping Cheques is usually fixed for the UK market the year before they are available. One way to get a better deal is to get a Silver Card and load them on the French site at the better exchange rate.
I go onto the French Camping Cheque site and buy them at 16E and then pay the going rate for Euros. You can translate the page so just the same as English site.I have a Gold Card so dont know if it works if you want Paper cheques.
