We just keep ours in the tray under the dash and the passenger holds it up under the rear view mirror when needed. That way I don't have the holder stuck to my windscreen year round

Fab. That's great. I presume it can be read through the windscreen then as we don't have any spotted black area there?

I have one fitted to an Smax, just behind the rear view mirror on the speckled dots drivers side.

Works a treat.
