I was checking how many days of European cover I had left with my Insurance Broker. Whilst pleased to find out I had only been abroad for 20 days I was somewhat alarmed to discover that during 2 visits to France this year I had only been covered third party, fire and theft. This was despite being assured by the broker that I was covered Fully Comp. Please check your cover before going away
Next year we want to spend large amounts of time in France. Can anyone recommend an Insurance Company that provides 90 days or more of European cover? Thank you

Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
Saga covers all year abroad fully comp abroad if you are over 50. Cover is included in price.
Otherwise any insurance will cover abroad fully comp for 60 or 90 days but usually it's an option you have to take at extra cost. The confusion arises because by law all insurance must provide third party cover because green card is not required within EU. Your broker should of course have pointed this out.
