St Amans des Cot ( camping les tours) or Camping Europa ( Annecy) we are head there this summer and wondered if anyone knew what they were like.

Stayed at St Aman Des Cots last year.  Its a great site with a fantastic lake for swimming, windsurfing etc.  The pitches nearer the lake are better - it quickly gets quite steep - was not good for our kids to cycle.  Campsite shop is good and a butcher comes once a week.  St Aman is a small village with enough to get buy and a couple of decent bars.  Nearest supermarket is miles away and the route in from the west is fairly hairy - steep drops off the road.  All in all a very spectacular place but a little isolated.  There's a couple of fantastic restaurants in Laguiole including one with a Michelin star.
